Lolita Lempicka fragrance is based on the scent of liquorice with beautiful anise notes that are a perfect match to liquorice and violet. The rigorous green ivy note is new and optimistic. The almond is in agreement with woodsy iris and sweet vanilla, united with heliotrope and Tonka. Lolita Lempicka was created back in 1997, it is a fragrance that has been suggested to be worn during the evening time. Lolita Lempicka is the pseudonum of French designer Josiane Maryse Pivida. The scent is named after the female protagonist of the famed novel Lolita by Vladimir Nabokav, and as an honour to Polish Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka. The house of Lolita Lempicka is more well-known today for its perfumes, but it began in 1983 as a line of women's fashions, inspired by fairy tales, princesses and the romantic fashions of times past. Lolita Lempicka perfumes were made in collaboration with perfumers Maurice Roucel, Annick Menardo, Christine Nagel and Benoit Lapouza.
